Name: Stoke City
Nickname: The Potters
Founded: 1863
Manager: Tony Pulis
Chairman: Peter Coates
Ground: Britannia Stadium, Stanley Matthews Way, Trentham Lakes, Stoke-on-Trent
Travel:
By car: Leave the M6 at Junction 15 and go straight across the roundabout onto the A500 towards Stoke-on-Trent.
The Britannia Stadium can be seen on the right-hand side.
Leave the A500 to join the A50 (signposted Derby, Uttoxeter).
Turn right at the roundabout, to join the A50 and as soon as possible join the left-hand lane. Go up the slip road and turn light over the bridge, which will take you down to the Britannia Stadium.
Anyone traveling from the East can follow the A50 all the way to the ground. Motorists should take the last turn off on the A50 with the stadium clearly visible on the left-hand side.
Parking: Supporters can purchase an official pass for the car park at the ground.
Parking is also available on nearby businesses which are located on Trentham Lakes. Note, the businesses who welcome supporters will charge to use the facility.
Other parking is available in surrounding areas such as Heron Cross.
By rail:
Stoke-on-Trent station is located on Station Road, Stoke. The station is on the main line from Manchester to London and also has major links to Birmingham, Crewe and Derby.
On matchdays buses travel from Glebe Street to the ground. Supporters wishing to use the bus service need to turn right from the station and then take their next right under the bridge and remain on the left as the road curves around to reach Glebe Street.
Bus:
Buses run from Hanley Bus Station which can be found on Old Hall Street. Supporters need the number 23 which will take them to Glebe Street where a shuttle service is provided.
The shuttle service continues between Glebe Street and the Britannia Stadium at 15 minute intervals up until 15 minutes before kick-off. Return buses depart immediately after the match from bus terminals behind the Seddon Stand (East) - normal fares apply.
By foot:
Pedestrians can access the Britannia Stadium by using footpaths along the bridge over the A500 which leads to the incinerator access road to link up with the footway to the stadium.
The footway can be reached from Stoke town by walking along Lonsdale Street which leads on to Campbell Road. Turn left at the roundabout by the Michelin factory and continue straight on.
Supporters should note there is no pedestrian access along the busy A500/A50 roads.
