Name: Hull City
Nickname: The Tigers
Founded: 1904
Manager: Phil Brown
Chairman: Paul Duffen
Ground: The Kingston Communications Stadium, Walton Street, Hull
Travel:
By car: From the South leave the M1 at Junction 32 to join the M18 (signposted The North).
At Junction 7 continue forward onto the M62 (signposted Hull).
Continue forward onto the A63. After nearly 10 miles branch left at the roundabout and take the 3rd exit onto the A15 (signposted Humber Bridge). At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A1105 (signposted Hessle). At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit (signposted Hull). Take the second exit at the next roundabout (signposted Cottingham) and once again, take the 2nd exit at the next roundabout, continuing on the A1105. Then turn left onto Walton Street.
Traveling from the South leave the A164 at the Humber Bridge Roundabout and take the first exit into Boothferry Road. The stadium is three miles down this road on the left.
From the West leave the M62 at Junction 38 and join the A63, towards Hull.
Stay on the A63 and the stadium is clearly signposted (KC Stadium) on the approach to Hull.
About one mile from the centre of Hull leave the A63 (also signposted for the Hull Royal Infirmary) and take the 2nd exit at the roundabout. Turn left at the lights and then over the flyover, right at the next lights and the ground is down on the right.
From the North leave the A164 at the Humber Bridge Roundabout and take the first exit into Boothferry Road. The stadium is three miles down this road on the left.
Parking: The stadium has a large car park that can be accessed from Walton Street. The cost to park is £3 (note this could rise now the club is in the Premier League) and the facility is accessible from Walton Street.
There are several city centre car parks to choose from and a park and ride scheme is in operation.
By rail: The stadium is a short walk from Hull Paragon station.
Visiting fans should leave the train station on the South side and turn right onto Anlaby Road. The stadium is about 15 minutes walk away, straight along Anlaby Road.
Details on rail times are available from National Rail.
The fan's guide:
Andy Dalton is one of the editors on Hull City fan site Amber Nectar and has supported The Tigers for 20 years.
What pubs would you recommend for away fans? "Very few near the ground. There are plenty of decent options in the city centre, or alternatively stop off in our of the outlying villages as you head east into Hull."
What areas would you recommend for parking? "There's a very large carpark outside the ground itself which is well stewarded, but can take some time to clear after the match.
"Alternatively, look to park to the west in order to avoid the worst of the traffic, or better still try the park and ride."
Do you have any travel tips for our supporters? "Unusually for a new stadium, The Circle is located close to Hull's city centre. This means that all approach roads can become busy before and especially after the game.
"The park and ride option is therefore well worth investigating. Alternatively, it's only a 20 to 25 minute walk from the railway station to the ground."
Where would you recommend supporters looking for accommodation headed for? "Accommodation is inexpensive in Hull - cheap B&Bs can be found in the city centre, or those seeking greater opulence can find plenty of country hotels on the outskirts.
"The 4* Portland Hotel, five minutes from the station, is the best hotel in the city centre."
What local attractions should our supporters pay a visit to? "The Deep is a quite spectacular aquarium (or 'submarium', as it sometimes calls itself) that actually lives up to the hype. Undoubtedly worth a visit.
