Name: Fulham
Nickname: The Cottagers
Founded: 1879
Manager: Roy Hodgson
Chairman: Mohammed Al-Fayed
Ground: Craven Cottage, Stevenage Road, London
Travel:
By car: Traveling from Stoke-on-Trent, supporters can either use the M1 or the M6. If using the M6, at Junction 11a take the right hand lane and continue forward onto the M6 Toll (signposted The South). From there continue forward onto the M42, at Junction 7a follow the M6 (signposted London N and E). Continue onto the M1. To avoid traveling through London leave the M1 at Junction 21 and join the M25. Note - Junction 21a will take you in the opposite direction.
Leave the M25 at Junction 15 and take the M4, which then becomes the A4, towards Central London. After around two miles branch off left into Hammersmith Broadway (before the flyover). Go around the ring road around central Hammersmith, keeping to the right. Take the A219 Fulham Palace Road. Keep straight on this road, passing Charing Cross Hospital on your left. After about another half a mile turn right into Crabtree Lane for the ground.
Heading from the South leave the M25 at Junction 10 and take the A3 towards Central London. After around eight miles, leave the A3 at the turn off for the A219. Take the A219 towards Putney. Continue straight on this road, down Putney High Street and across Putney Bridge. The ground can be spotted on the left.
Parking: Parking is possible in the streets on the other side of the Fulham Palace Road (A219) to Craven Cottage. However they are ontrolled by council parking meters, so make sure you bring plenty of change (£1.60 per hour) and early arrival is advised. Parking though is free in these areas in the evenings and on Sundays. Check meters for details.
By rail: The nearest tube station is Putney Bridge which is on the District Line. The ground is a 15 minute walk away. Head out of the station towards Bishops Park. Supporters can take a short cut through the park or to use the roads, head along Fulham High Street which leads onto Fulham Palace Road. After Bishop's Avenue which is on the left-hand side, take any of the next five turnings on the left and then turn right along Stevenage Road.
Full details on using the London Underground system is available on-line.
Details on rail times are available from National Rail.
