Name: Arsenal
Nickname: The Gunners, The Gooners
Founded: 1886
Manager: Arsene Wenger
Chairman: Peter Hill-Wood
Ground: Emirates Stadium
Travel:
By car: Traveling from Stoke-on-Trent, supporters can either use the M1 or the M6. If using the M6, at Junction 11a take the right hand lane and continue forward onto the M6 Toll (signposted The South). From there continue forward onto the M42, at Junction 7a follow the M6 (signposted London N and E). Continue onto the M1.
Leave the M1 at Junction 2 and merge onto tha A1.
At traffic signals continue forward. At Henlys Corner, continue forward onto the A406.
Remain in the right hand lanes and branch right onto the A1 (signposted Central London, Holloway, Highgate). Bear right onto the one-way Archway Road. Continue forward (signposted Central London, Holloway, Archway).
At The Woodman pub continue forward (signposted Central London (The City) ). Pass the Holloway Round Underground Station.
At traffic signals turn left onto Hornsey Road along the A103.
At roundabout take the 4th exit onto Benwell Road to arrive at the stadium.
Parking: There is little parking at the stadium itself or in nearby streets.
An extensive residents only parking scheme operates around the stadium on matchdays.
It's probably better to park further out of London around an underground station such as Cockfosters and get the tube to the ground.
By rail: The nearest underground station to the Emirates Stadium is Holloway Road on the Piccadilly line. However, this will be closed on matchdays as it relies mostly on lifts to transport passengers to and from street level and this could cause problems when large crowds are in attendance.
Fans should therefore use the next stop on the Piccadilly line which is Arsenal tube station. It is only a few minutes walk from here to the stadium.
On exiting the station turn right and follow Drayton Park Road around to the left. Then take one of the large bridges over the railway line to the stadium. Other tube stations in walking distance of the stadium are Finsbury Park on the Piccadilly line and Highbury and Islington on the Victoria line.
Full details on using the London Underground system is available on-line.
Details on rail times are available from National Rail.
