FORMER Stoke loan goalkeeper Carlo Nash has signed a two-year deal with Everton.

The 34-year-old goalkeeper, who helped Stoke to promotion during a loan spell at the end of last season, joined on deadline day from Wigan for an undisclosed fee.

Nash was a boyhood Toffees fan and said: “I have known of Everton’s interest for the last couple of weeks and there have been a few sleepless nights hoping it would go through.

“Finally it has and I am over the moon.”

Another former Stoke loanee, Fulham’s Gabriel Zakuani, linked up with League One side Peterborough on a one-month’s loan.

I'm just glad the Dramani deal didn't go through. Another 'Wee Dram' headline and my laptop would have gone through the patio window.
