Shawcross man or donkey?

Shawcross man or donkey?

Donkey for sure and a few stoke fans are a disgrace.

Only bad thing is that it was not fuller.s leg what a bag of Shi**.

Lets hope the lad makes a full recovery.

Tbh shawcross should not have be on the pitch as should have been sent off via man city but what goes around comes around and i doubt shawcross will ever forget this... so his form will suffer

What a plonker you

What a plonker you are!!!
Ryan Shawcross did what any decent defender would do & go in hard. Yes very unfortunate and sad for Ramsey, but what are players supposed to do, stand aside and say "here old chap have the ball".

you're on par with that silly Arsenal manager, who truely believes that his players should be bubble wrapped.
Hopefully Tony will be able to pick Ryan up and gey him back out asap & I'm certain true Stokies will be behind him.

disgrace

that was a horrendous challenge! studs up straight into the lads ankle! i hope someone doe sthe same thing to him one day! see how he likes it

disgusting once again;

disgusting once again; shameful city, shameful fans and disgusting philosophy of football.

shawcross

Fair play to whelan for staying with the lad throughout.

Pulis needs to keep his mouth shut he was more concerned his little spat than the clumsy challenge from shawcross.

That challenge was partly caused by stoke's crap playing surface.

Appalling that some stoke

Appalling that some stoke fans were waving their arms to 'say' goodbye as Aaron was being carried off the pitch. You decent fans should be ashamed of them. To be honest I think stoke fans with their constant booing and hissing at Arsenal players throughout the game should feel responsible too. They do nothing else but to encourage the players to act recklessly and aggressively. I'm sick of this attitude of "Arsenal don't like it up 'em" this is the result! And the ref's are to blame as well they should take a grip of the game early on.

Relieved not all of you fans are happy with some tactics of players and the attitude of other fans.

What a load of Rubbish!

Chelsea Fan - watch the replay, you know not what you are talking about.
Stoke are not an aggresive side and no more physical than any other Premiership team - check out Sol Campbell yesterday for starters.

Disgusting Once Again - please enlighten us and justify your comments.

Beebee. I sit near to the Boothen End and didn't see any waving - if this did happen I apologise for this it is indeed out of order, all that I saw/heard was applause for Asron. Regarding the booing and hissing. Are you suggesting that this doesn't go on at many other clubs? I think not.

Gregormaresky. Who are YOU to criticize Ryan Shawcross when you wish such an injury on another player - shame on you.

Well said Pulis

Pulis in the Mirror today - “Rory Delap broke his leg in a challenge with a Sunderland player a few years ago and was out for nearly eight months. We dealt with it in-house and got on with it."

Wenger could learn from this. These things happen in football. Horrible to see and best wishes to Ramsey for a speedy recovery. He's young enough to make a full recovery and good luck to him.

Shawcross for England.

Wenger needs glasses

If Wenger wasn't such a blind, biased and totally one sided moron then maybe less Arsenal fans would be on here criticising Stoke and Shawcross for what was a completly unmalicious and freak incident.

Arsenal fans should stop taking Wengers word as that of God. Anyone with half a brain and the ability to think for themselves, both rationally and logically knows what really happened.

The focus should be on Ramsey getting better, not trying to lynch someone which at the end of the day isn't going to change anything.

Ramsey, get well soon.

The beautiful game

as a stoke fan i wish aaron a speedy recovery ,the premiership will miss the likes of his quality.
The fans here at the Britannia appreciate the class and finesse that the top teams put on display for us here.... but its our job to win the best way we can with the resources available.
I must stand up for our team who are fully dedicated to the cause of keeping Stoke in the best league in the world... they do get labelled quite readily by the media as dirty, tough and one dimensional.... sorry fans across the country this is not the case.... even Aresene Wenger agreed they are technically better than the previous season !!

Proud to be a potter.

Unfortunate accident Ryan Shawcross

I write to offer my support to two very unforunate young men. Aaron Ramsey a talented young footballer who was caught with a slightly late but certainly not malicious tackle which has caused a horrific injury no one likes to see. Ryan Shawcross an equally talented young footballer caught in the aftermath of cinical and unfair comments from fans and a certain manager of a london club. Having played the game myself, i understand that hard tackles are made and occassionaly those who are slighlty more fleet of foot will get caught with late tackles. I watched the game and have seen several replays and do not believe the tackle warranted a straight red card, the referee made his decision based on the injury and not the actual foul. Ryan was a split second late, he did not launch himself two footed into the air, he did not scythe him down from behind and he did not go over the top of the ball like a coward, he made a genuine attempt to win a 50-50 tackle. Had Aaron not managed to toe the ball away and had they both arrived at the ball at the same time the injury may well have still happened as the boys studs had caught in the turf or it may not have happened at all, but no blame can be attached to Ryan in any way. I have a five year old son who supports West Brom just like myself, however we live in stoke and he knows all of the Stoke footballers. He wants to grow up to be big and strong and play football just like Ryan Shawcross, we tell him if he eats all his veg he might just get to be 6 foot 3 and play for England one day. I can think of no better role model for my son. Ryan is a genuinely hard but fair footballer, I have seen first hand some of the tackles made by all of the stoke players when they have played the baggies over the years and can honestly say I have never witnessed a deliberatly malicious tackle by any of them. My sympathies are with both players and their families, obviously Aaron has a long road to recovery and Ryan will have mental scars to deal with for some time but i hope and believe that both players are young enough and mentally strong enough to recover from this unfortunate accident and go on to be very good international players for their respective countries.
True fans of the game are behind both players. Good luck and best wishes to both of you.

This Shawcross guy is just

This Shawcross guy is just nasty ask Francis Jeffers and Adebayor. Why him always? How many red cards have stoke had this season?? Doesn't that say something about them??

WHO TACKLED WHO?

This is for all of you Arsenal supporters and Mr Wenger who condemn Ryan Shawcross.
http://awooga.org/images/5p4ok6t87n2hc77jupd.jpg

This clearly shows Shawcross about to kick the ball and NOT tackle, and Ramsey lunging towards Ryan who has the ball at his feet.
Call yourselves football supporter? Judge and Jury would be a better description, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

i think you should check out

i think you should check out myfootballfacts.com and see just how many red cards stoke city have had this season compared to some of the "superior football" teams have had 1. Liverpool 5 red cards 2. Man Utd 3 red cards. Stoke city 1 red card upto 7th feb 2010. So please explain exactly what that does say about them.
Then explain how some of these so called superior football teams have the worst records in the premier league.
joint top of the red card table Patrick Vieira with 8 red cards joined by Richard Dunne who is still playing in the premier league and not renowned for being blessed with pace or soft tackles.
Ryan Shawcross 1 red card in almost 2 years in the premier league and the only one so far in his career, Vieira almost 1 a season, so again i ask you to explain??

I suggest you double check your facts in future before coming out with the complete and utter garbage currently falling from your mouth.

Yawn ....Arsenal fans and Ramsey

...........so sick of the "broken leg" subject and the pathetic comments of some Arsenal fans, in view of Ramsey's childish reaction to Shawcross's text and voice mail, I hope he has a very long and slow return to never being the same player again, To hell with the lot of them.

Chatting utter bollox lad.

Chatting utter bollox lad. All the stoke fans stood up and clapped Aaron off. people knew straight away that his injury was not good and it was serious
